On a difficult surface, it was Cookridge who played the quicker and best football. The long grass made dribbling and passing difficult however ALmo managed to cut open the defence and cross the ball for Nathan to score, 1-0. Cookridge then pushed forward for a second, Mackenzie hit the bar and both Liam and Nathan had further chances. Eventually, the second goal came via an own goal, 2-0.

The second half started with Cookridge dominating again. Nathan took another great corner and captain Liam was there to volley it home, 3-0. Then the collapse started, Ireland W started to win the battles and 50/50 tackles and scored two quick goals to make it 3-2. There was a lot of confusion at the end but both Cookridge, through Nathan, and Ireland W scored and the final score finished 4-3. A special mentioned to Arjan who ran his socks off but man of the match was Yacine who battled hard and put in some huge and last ditch tackles in defence.
