Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Leeds Finals
The Year 5/6 Tag Rugby team competed against 19 other Leeds schools on Tuesday in the Leeds City Rugby Finals. After playing four matches, Cookridge came second in their group, and came joint 5th in the whole of Leeds. A fantastic effort and a huge amount of praise needs to go to the team. Joel Moon, Ronnie Rhino and Mitch Achurch from the Leeds Rhinos came to cheer on the teams, sign autographs, pose for photos and hand over the trophy and certificates. A big thank you to Josh's dad Colin for coming and training the team between matches!!
